Company Starz Auditions

Auditions for our competitive team will be on Saturday, June 25th from 9am-Noon.

For ages 7 and up, this is a 3-hour process where you will demonstrate technique, flexibility and learn a short dance routine. Please come dressed in dancewear and bring ballet, jazz, and tap shoes. Audition fee is $35 (non-refundable)

Fall Registration

We are currently accepting new students for our 2011-2012 dance year! The office is closed during the summer months, however we will be open certain days to accept registration:

Saturday, June 25th, 2011: 9am-Noon

Monday, July 18th-Friday, July 22nd, 2011: 5:30-8:30pm

You may also mail in your registration form (can be printed from our Registration page) and fee to our studio at 196-B Stonebridge Dr., Myrtle Beach, SC 29588
Registration form and a non-refundable fee of $35 is due at the time of registration. Classes will fill up! Make sure to get the class you want by signing up soon!

Summer Dance Clinics

If you're not sure of which style of dance your child would like to learn, we're offering summer dance clinics in which every day of the week is a different style of dance! Price: $50

Monday, July 18th-Friday, July 22nd (Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Musical Theater and Hip Hop)

Ages 5-6: 6:30-7:30pm

Ages 7-10: 7:30-8:30pm

Price: $50

Welcome...
Palmetto Dance Starz welcomes our students! Our mission is to provide quality dance instruction in a fun and positive atmosphere. We are so excited to have such a wonderful group of students! Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Tuition
Dance tuition is a yearly fee which is divided up into monthly payments. Monthly tuition is due by the 1st of each month. A late fee of $15 will be applied to your account if received after the due date. Please see our handbook for additional policies.

Costume Deposits
Deposits for Recital Costumes are due by Monday, October 4th. Amount due is $50 per costume. Costume companies require many months to make the costumes. We will be ordering all costumes soon to make sure they arrive in plenty of time for Picture Day in March. Costume balances will be due once the order has been placed.

We are running a special on Fall Registration for next year! Register by Friday, June 25th and receive $10 off Registration Fees. After June 25th, the registration fee is $35.

Summer Camps and Clinics

PDS will be offering Summer Camps and Clinics during June and July. More information is posted in the lobby. Space is limited. Be sure to register now!

Company Starz Auditions

For ages 7 and up: Auditions for the 2010-2011 Company Starz competitive team are June 22nd-24th from 6:30-7:30pm. Please come dressed in dancewear and bring jazz, tap and ballet shoes. (Second chance auditions for those who missed the June auditions are July 27th-29th from 6:30-7:30pm.) Audition fee is $35.

Recital Information

* Our 1st annual Spring Recital will take place on Saturday, May 22nd at 2pm at North Myrtle Beach High School.

* Dress Rehearsal will be on Friday, May 21st from 5:30-7:30pm at NMB High School. Students in the 1st Half will practice from 5:30-6:30pm. Students in the 2nd Half will practice from 6:30-7:30pm. Students are to wear their costumes for the dress rehearsal.

* Recital Tickets

Children dancing in the recital do NOT need a ticket. We will have extra tickets available to purchase for $3 in advance or at the door.

* Recital Merchandise
Our recital will be professionally video recorded and available to purchase the day of the show for $25. Please NO video taping or flash photography during Recital!!!
Special Recital T-shirts and Programs will also be available to purchase the day of the show. Cash or Check only, please.

* Recital Program Ads
We've extended the deadline for program ads to May 3rd. If you'd like to wish your special star Good Luck in our program, please have your ad submitted to us on disc by the deadline.

* A $40 Recital Fee is due Monday, April 19th.

There is a $35 annual Registration Fee due at the time of Registration. Tuition is due by the 1st of every month. After the 10th, a late fee will be applied to your account.

For the month of August, PDS will be open every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm-7:30pm for Registration for Fall Classes.

All you need to do is stop in, fill out the Registration Form and choose your classes! A non-refundable fee of $35 is due at the time of registration.

Palmetto Dance Starz is proud to announce that Savannah Fairchild, Savannah Rion and Chelsea Brown will be back up dancers for "Cyndi Lauper" at Legends in Concert.
